When exporting data to a shapefile from ArcGIS Enterprise Site, the prj file is missing.

Solución alternativa

Workaround 1:

Download the data directly from the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal instead of the ArcGIS Enterprise Site.

However, this workaround is cumbersome and undermines the goal of a site.

Workaround 2:

Go to the item details page of the hosted feature layer, click on Export Data, then click on Export to Shapefile.

In ArcGIS Enterprise Sites, use the 'AddExistingContent' button to add this shapefile to the site.

The data in the site can now be retrieved from 2 different items: the hosted feature layer (no .prj file => no CRS) and the shapefile (contains .prj => correct CRS).

In order to avoid confusion, the 'Allow others to export to different formats.' option of the hosted feature layer should be disabled.
