Error
When editing in the Annotation tab from the Attributes window, if the decimal font size is manually applied to the highlighted text, the font size changes to the closest half point.

ArcGIS Desktop (including ArcGIS Engine and ArcObjects) is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026. Add or modify the font size tag through Attributes window > Attributes tab > TextString field.
