When calculating geometry attributes for a hosted feature service in ArcGIS Pro, the processing time is longer than performing the same calculations in ArcGIS Online or ArcMap.

Add or update geometry attribute tools have a generic implementation for all data sources. In approach, use an UpdateCursor which updates a record at a time. It is not optimal for this particular client or server situation. This issue is monitored but is not reviewed at this time.
