Using an input from an in_memory workspace for the Make Feature Layer tool in ModelBuilder creates a feature layer with a missing data source.

The existing ArcGIS Desktop 10.x `in_memory` has much more limited life cycle in ArcGIS Pro. Data written to in_memory should be persisted to the current workspace (%workspace% in modelbuilder) to persist the data. A new, more compete in_memory solution is planned in upcoming releases.

Solución alternativa

Run the model in ArcMap. The output created from the Make Feature Layer tool is displayed correctly.
