Using a template while creating a new application in the My Content page in Portal for ArcGIS does not recognize the custom web app templates group.

Solución alternativa

Set the Web App Templates group to custom web app template group. Launch the web map in the map viewer and click Share. Click 'Make a Web Application' and click Configurable Apps. Notice that Configurable Apps only shows the custom templates added to the group.
