Error

The time slider does not display in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic when accessing a time-enabled referenced map service that has the live mode.

To ensure live data is displayed by default, the time slider does not automatically display. The time slice returned from the server is the default view of the layer. Displaying the time slider by default can interfere with this behavior. The time slider is still available to open and configure as normal to create a map with a specific time configuration (but that overrides the default live data display from the service).
