The texture of a scene layer displays only gray texture after publishing it to Portal for ArcGIS if the Windows machine region of either Portal or ArcGIS Pro is set to Chinese (Simplified, China).

Solución alternativa

• If the Portal for ArcGIS machine is with the Windows region set to Chinese (Simplified, China), set the region of the ArcGIS Enterprise machine to English (United States) to cache on the server while publishing. Cache locally while publishing. (When caching locally, make sure the Windows region in ArcGIS Pro is English (United States)).

• If the ArcGIS Pro machine is with the Windows region set to Chinese (Simplified, China), set the region of the ArcGIS Pro machine to English (United States) before using the Create 3D Object Scene Layer Content tool to create the Esri Scene Layer Package (SLPK) file.
