The submission fails when publishing a survey with multiple geopoint, geotrace, or geoshape questions, where the first geometry question has bind::esri:fieldType of null, which creates a hosted table instead of a hosted feature layer.

Solución alternativa

To workaround this issue, publish a new survey.

To have map questions that do not capture the geometry for submissions, follow the steps below.

1. Create a new survey using the XLS form.
2. Ensure there is a map question that does not have a field type of null and publish the survey. By doing this, ArcGIS Survey123 Connect publishes a hosted feature layer instead of a table.
3. Edit the XLSForm, change bind::esri:fieldType to null for any map questions, and republish the survey. By doing this, the geometry will be captured for the submissions, although the geometry added to the map question on the form (with a null field type) will not be captured in the feature layer.
