Solución alternativa

After recreating the bug, close the Sketch Properties window. Add additional vertex anywhere on a part of the line not being reshaped. Move the newly created vertex. Unselect and reselect the feature to show vertices. Reopen the Sketch Properties window. The duplicate vertices will be gone. - Steven Embree, Geodata
