The methodology used in the XLSForm is not supported by the web app. Instead, use the following: type name relevant calculation ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- text question_1 calculate string_length string-length(${question_1}) text question_2 ${string_length}>0 This method uses an intermediate calculate question to effectively evaluate, if a text is entered into the first text question, and displays the second text question, and so forth.
