The Paste Special Template search bar in ArcGIS Pro automatically selects the first multi-feature type feature class option after entering in a few letters that match a few other feature class feature types, rather than allowing selection from the list of options.

Solución alternativa

This issue cannot be reproduced when a feature class with a single feature type is used. Hence working with multiple single-feature type feature classes, as opposed to a multi-feature type feature class, avoids multiple clicks in the Paste Special Template search bar.
