The Parcel Drafter widget does not accept input coordinates for starting point when adding a new traverse.

The solution defaults to the coordinate system units, for example, if the dataset is in State Plane (common in the US) enter state plane coordinates. If the dataset is in meters, enter the coordinates in meters. The sample application here uses State Plane coordinates (Illinois State Plane East).
