The Overlay Events tool in ArcGIS Pro returns a much larger output than the equivalent Overlay Route Events tool in ArcMap.

The tool supports time slicing of event layers in ArcGIS Pro but not in ArcMap. This is the reason for the different number of records in the output of the tool in each version.
