The filter in the Category selector with features does not honor the field selection in ArcGIS Dashboards.

This behavior is due to the fact that the Line Item Template setting on the Category selector determines the attributes that are displayed in the selector, not the filter. To display the correct attribute values in the Category selector, configure the Line Item Template setting using the desired field.
