Información adicional

This behavior is by design. It is functionally equivalent to ArcMap’s UI for Map View exports and ArcGIS Pro pre-2.5 versions for Map View export. In ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro pre-2.5, users scale the export up or down by specifying a DPI, which results in a bigger or smaller number of pixels on each axis. The effective aspect ratio (ratio between x and y dimensions) is controlled by resizing the map view which is not very intuitive. In ArcGIS Pro, users can specify the exact number of pixels to receive in each dimension, and use the Show Preview option to see the effects of the resulting aspect ratio (including the content to be included) directly in ArcGIS Pro view – without resizing it. If more pixels are desired for a particular deliverable, increment one or both axes as needed. Unlike Map View, Layout View has a defined page size and DPI is a valid setting. More info about this user experience can be found in https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/sharing/overview/export-a-map-or-layout.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_F497B984A8904BE995DF70507DFAE854”

Solución alternativa

Other formats such as PDF do have DPI, but the "Best" option here is listed as 96 DPI, which may not be a fine enough resolution for some users. Additionally, if a user wants to export in JPEG or TIFF formats, adjusting the DPI is not an option.
