The Export Attribute Rules tool appends an uppercase .CSV to the output file, causing the tool to fail with the error message, "Error 999999."

Solución alternativa

There are two workarounds for this issue. Change the capital .CSV that is appended to the file path to lowercase .csv. The tool runs successfully. Or, export the rules from the ribbon button by following the workflow below.

1. Right-click the feature class in the Contents pane, navigate to Data Design, and click Attribute Rules.
2. On the top ribbon, select Export Rules.
3. Name output file and click Save. This generates the expected output.
