The ArcGIS Web Adaptor configuration fails with ArcGIS Server when the server protocol is set to ‘HTTP Only’ in the Linux environment.

This issue is not reproducible. When the server has security set as 'HTTP only', the web adaptor can be configured via the user interface (UI) and command line utility.

Solución alternativa

Once the ArcGIS Server protocol is changed to 'HTTP and HTTPS', using the 'HTTPS' protocol in the URL configuration, the ArcGIS Web Adaptor is configured successfully.
