This issue is to be fixed in a future release with other improvements to the Gallery card.Solución alternativa
Add the image as a thumbnail again in ArcGIS Online. This does not change the appearance of the thumbnail within ArcGIS Online, but the change is carried over correctly to ArcGIS Hub.
