Error
The Append Parcel Fabric tool fails when a field with the short integer data type is appended to a field with the text data type.

This issue is a known limitation. The workaround is provided below: 1. Add another field with the same type as the destination. 2. Calculate the field values over to the new field. 3. Run the Append Parcel Fabric tool.
