Specific user dataset schemas cannot be edited in a feature service with the Sync capability enabled when the data is registered as archive-enabled with Global IDs sending an Apply Edits updates call. The issue is specific to the database schema which has been reduced to GlobalID, ObjectID, Generic Text Field, and Shape columns. The server logs return the "an error occurred" message and the database trace displays no Update or Insert statements are sent from the server.
