Error
Service Editor in ArcCatalog does not update or show the selected capability under the Capabilities section when a REST server object extension (SOE) is activated in a map service.

The issue is not to be addressed.Solución alternativa
After the failed attempt (for example, the REST SOE does not show in the capabilities section.) Click OK on Service Editor.
- In ArcCatalog, right-click the same map service again.
- Select Service Properties, then select the capabilities section in the left pane and the REST SOE is shown under the capabilities.
