Running the Directional Distribution tool creates ellipsoids with sharp corners and flat edges.

Solución alternativa

1. Close ArcGIS Pro and navigate to C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\Resources\ArcToolBox\Scripts.
2. Open 'StandardEllipse.py' as an Administrator, or open IDLE as an admin and navigate to the script.
3. Scroll down to the 'Sum All Components' section and replace the line, 'data = NUM.asfarray(a + b + c, dtype = NUM.float32)' with 'data=a+b+c'.
4. Save the script, restart ArcGIS Pro and run the tool again. A smooth and continuous ellipsoid is produced.
