Error
Running the change version geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro does not refresh the version information and results in the refresh version operation no longer working.

Solución alternativa
Use the ArcGIS Pro UI to manually change or refresh the version. However, Python is used to automate the process using scripting.
