Error
Renaming a database connection file before the Properties' user interface (UI) opens fails with the error message, "Unable to get database connection properties.".

The problem cannot be reproduced as documented. On one occasion, the connection dialog box was successfully renamed before the Properties dialog box finished loading, which triggered an error message. However, no negative effects were observed in the ArcGIS Pro's user interface (UI) following the dismissal of the error message; database properties could still be modified, and interaction with the database contents remained unaffected.Solución alternativa
- Wait for the Properties user interface (UI) to load before changing the name of the Spatial Database Engine (SDE).
- Change the name of the SDE before selecting Properties.
