Error
Lock error messages are returned when editing features in ArcMap in two different sessions (.mxd) files with the same file geodatabase (FGDB) and a join is present in at least one MXD.

ArcGIS Desktop (including ArcGIS Engine and ArcObjects) is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026.
