Error

Layer files which are created based on an ALIAS name for data in a database cannot be imported to symbolize other layers. The ALIAS name is not recognized when the symbology is imported. Instead of accessing the field ALIAS, the symbology from the LYR file transfers to the first user-defined field in the attribute table.
