Labels rendered in a 3D view are rasterized into a texture that is then placed on an invisible polygon in the scene. Since the viewing distance and angle for 3D views can vary greatly, labels are less crisp than the text rendered directly on a map or layout with the benefit of text anti-aliasing and hinting. This is a known limitation of the implementation of labels drawn in a scene view.
