Error
Joining a field with an underscore (_) at the end of the field name returns no matches in a file geodatabase.

This issue is on a bad index on the field, which includes an underscore at the end. Delete the index on the field. Recreate the join. The join automatically recreates a new index, and everything works as expected.Solución alternativa
Use a field to join without an underscore at the end.
