In the ArcGIS Survey123 field app, when a question is read-only with a now() function, the time stamp changes to the time when the draft is re-opened.

This is an intended change with the calculation improvements brought into ArcGIS Survey123 3.14. Either wrap the calculation in the once() function or use the calculationMode=whenEmpty or calculationMode=manual parameters to prevent the function from updating.

Ensure the question is not flagged as read-only.

  1. Wrap the calculation in the once() function.
  2. Use calculationMode=whenEmpty or calculationMode=manual to stop the calculation from updating.
