Error
In Category symbology, adding values from a field name existing in both layer and joined table always adds the values from the field in the joined table, regardless of which of the two fields is selected as the category field.

In ArcCatalog, set an alias for fields that are identical in tables for the join. The alias appears in the Symbology dialog field list, regardless of the setting of 'Show Field Aliases' in the attribute table in ArcMap.Pasos para reproducir
