Error
In ArcMap, the Region Group geoprocessing tool performs significantly slower when the output raster is written to a file geodatabase rather than a folder.

This issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 2.6. The changes made are not available to this tool in ArcMap.Solución alternativa
- If possible, try setting the output format to Esri GRID, which may result in faster performance. The output is then able to be converted back to the format of choice.
- If the link to the original values is not required, uncheck the 'Add link to field to output option'. This allows the operation to perform faster.
Note: Since the performance issue was addressed in ArcGIS Pro 2.6, if it is available, the Pro version of the Region Group tool could be used for this step, and the result used in the rest of the process in ArcMap.
