In ArcGIS Experience Builder, the Utility Network Trace widget displays a licensing error for users with the ArcGIS Utility Network user type extension if the Utility Network map image layer has been shared to the public level.

Solución alternativa

Leave the sharing level of the associated map image layer at the private or organization level.

If the sharing level of the map image layer has been set to public:

1) Change the sharing level of the map image layer back to private or organization.

2) Republish the web map again from ArcGIS Pro.

3) Refresh the ArcGIS Experience Builder web app - the Utility Network Trace widget will work again.

Note: This is also seen within Web Applications developed with the API for JavaScript and the workaround includes setting both the map image layer and the feature layer to organization.
