In ArcGIS Enterprise Map Viewer, the Placement selector unexpectedly displays for line features added within a map image layer.

Solución alternativa

·        If a map image layer (map service) is preferred, configure labels in ArcGIS Pro prior to publishing and do not adjust the label configuration in Map Viewer.

·        Add the line features through a feature layer (referenced feature service) or hosted feature layer, as this removes the Placement selector from the label configuration in Map Viewer.

·        Upgrade to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5 or above as the Placement selector is available for both point and line features in newer versions: For point and line features, click the Placement selector and choose a different placement location of the label in relation to the feature or cluster.
