Field Calculator fails when a feature layer contains the character '/'.

Do not use '/' within a layer name.Solución alternativa
- Substitute '/' with another character or remove it from the layer name.
- Option 2
- Export the feature layer to a new feature class (can be skipped if the feature class from which the feature layer is originated already contains the field which is to be used in Field Calculator).
- Open the Calculate Field (Data Management) tool.
- For Input Table, browse to the feature class through the file icon instead of selecting the feature layer from the drop-down list.
