Field calculation on a layer with join does not work as expected if there is a one-to-many relationship.

There is only one memory location to store the values. The additional records shown in the joined attribute table are mirrored reflections of these locations. Therefore, it is not possible because there is no allocation of anywhere new to put the new values.Solución alternativa
Suggested workflow:
1. Do a one-to-many join.
2. Use Copy Features to persist the data to memory, to make somewhere to put the values).
3. Use Calculate Field against the new table.
