Features cannot be deleted in an ArcGIS Online feature layer when the service has sync enabled and a field is deleted. When attempting to delete a feature, an error, "Invalid column name" is returned for the deleted field.

Solución alternativa

Do not enable the sync capability on the service when first publishing, or disable the sync capability on the service if the service is already published. Follow the steps below to disable the sync capability:

1. Go to the REST Admin page for the service.

2. Click Update Definition.

3. Find the line for syncEnabled, change the value from 'true' to 'false', and update the definition. This disables the sync capability on the service.

The sync capability can only be disabled on a service that does not have any registered replicas.
