Embedded link fails to load in the sidecar media panel in ArcGIS StoryMaps.

This is as designed. Adding a URL Adding a URL not supporting live embedding, such as www.google.com, outside a sidecar only permits the embed to be shown as a card, which functions simply as a link. Cards are not supported in sidecar media panels since it is not a good/expected experience to show a link in a large panel. This is why an error is shown when adding this link to the sidecar.
