Solución alternativa

Add a field (Dummy) to the table and populate it with some value for each row. Create a new chart and add Dummy as the first series so that space along the X axis is allocated for all X values. Then add the valid series of interest. You can remove the Dummy series from the legend and make its symbol transparent, so that it does not show up among the other symbols in the chart.
