Error

Changing between a projections using the NAD_1983 and NAD_1983_HARN datums without applying a transformation results in about a 2 feet shift instead of about 3 inches in mosaic datasets in ArcMap 10.4.

This issue can be resolved by applying a transformation when using different datums.

Solución alternativa

  1. Apply the appropriate transformation to the data frame.
  2. Keep the data frame in the same datum as the data.
  3. Reproject the data.
