Solución alternativa

Run a "Repair" on the ArcGIS Image Server 10 and/or the ArcGIS Image Service Editor 10 setups through "Add/Remove Programs" or "Programs and Features" on the control panel. Once the Repair(s) are complete, both ArcGIS Image Server 10 and ArcGIS Explorer 900 will function normally.
