ArcCatalog crashes when trying to preview a service if it is installed on the same machine as ArcGIS Server and the machine has sixteen CPUs.

Version 9.3.1 has been retired.Solución alternativa
To allow ArcCatalog to preview the service: 1) Launch ArcCatalog. 2) Open Task Manager and select the Processes tab. 3) Locate the ArcCatalog.exe then right-click on it and select 'Set Affinity'. 4) Uncheck all CPUs execpt 1 such as 'CPU 0'. 5) Connect to ArcGIS Server from ArcCatalog and you can now preview the service.Pasos para reproducir
