Append tool (from Management), ArcSDE feature class as a target: "Zoom to full extent" only zooms to the first feature class from all appended. Feature class extent is not recalculated.

- after Append, create new feature class in the same feature dataset,- copy/paste all features from appended fc to the new one in ArcMap,the extents at full view will be correct.
