Error
After renaming a service from the item details page in Portal for ArcGIS 10.6 and attempt to overwrite the service from ArcMap 10.6, the rename does not take effect and the old name still shows up.

ArcGIS Desktop (including ArcGIS Engine and ArcObjects) is in mature support and will be retired March 1, 2026.
