Error

After changing either the jobs or output directory, the output or jobs directory path will not actually update the specific system services until that service in particular is started back up through server manager or another directory is changed.

Solución alternativa

Restart or start the server service in question manually through server manager. Stopping, then starting the service(s) in question through the admin endpoint will not work. The folder path can also be updated manually through the endpoint for the service in ArcGIS Server Administrator.
