A layer view cannot be created in ArcGIS Online when the metadata description is aligned anywhere except to the left, and when copied and pasted from another application.

Ensure the text within the description of the metadata is aligned to the Left before publishing from ArcGIS Pro to ArcGIS Online. Additionally, do not paste directly from Microsoft Word.
