Error: ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise Web Application fails to open after installing the Portal for ArcGIS Security 2022 Update 2 Patch

Error Message

After installing the Portal for ArcGIS Security 2022 Update 2 Patch on version 10.9.1 or 11.0 of ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise, Business Analyst Web App fails to load. No web page is found at the address.

Error: 
Failed to load the ArcGIS Business Analyst Enterprise Web Application. HTTP Error 404: This page can’t be found.

Cause

The Business Analyst web application files are inadvertently overwritten when the Portal for ArcGIS Security 2022 Update 2 Patch is installed.

This issue will be resolved for future Portal for ArcGIS patches, the problem is isolated to the Portal for ArcGIS Security 2022 Update 2 Patch.

Solution or Workaround

1. If the Portal for ArcGIS Security 2022 Update 2 Patch has not yet been installed, delete the BA.zip file from this location:
   • <Portal for ArcGIS install location>\ArcGIS\Portal\zips\apps\BA.zip
   • By default, the folder location is C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\zips\apps\BA.zip
2. Proceed with installing the Portal for ArcGIS Security 2022 Update 2 Patch.
   • If the security patch has already been installed, The Business Analyst web application must be uninstalled and reinstalled.

Post Workaround Instructions

If the 2022 U.S. data is installed to Business Analyst Enterprise, this patch must be reapplied to fix an issue with the 2022 U.S. data update that prevents the Business Analyst web application from initializing.
