Does ArcGIS CityEngine support importing colors from ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap?

Answer

Features in a file geodatabase can be imported into CityEngine, meaning that users can bring in points, lines, polygons, and multipatches for use in their scenes. However oftentimes users notice that when they bring in their features, the symbology they have applied in ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap does not carry over. 

This is expected behavior. CityEngine does not support importing colors on shapes. There are workflows described in the Related Information section below about how to use rule files to color shapes, but the colors do not carry over from Pro. Models, on the other hand, will import textures. For the difference between shapes and models, see the following documentation:
