Identify the web map used to create an ArcGIS web application?

Summary

In ArcGIS Online, web applications can be created with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder from a web map. In some instances, when editing the application, members may need to identify the web map used to create the application.

Procedure

To identify the web map used to create the application, follow the steps below.

  1. In ArcGIS Online, on the web application item details page, click Edit Application to edit the app in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.
  2. In ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, click the Map tab.
The different tabs, including the Map tab, are displayed in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.
  1. Under the listed web map, click More details... to open the web map's item details page in ArcGIS Online. In this article’s example, the web map’s name is Evacuation Map.
Under the Map tab, the web map used in the application is listed and clicking the the More details... option opens the web map's item details page.

The image below shows the Evacuation Map’s item details page is displayed after clicking More details... under the Map tab.

After clicking More details... or Show item details, the item details page of the web map used in the application is displayed.
