Problem: Pop-Ups Configured in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Are Not Reflected in the ArcGIS We

Description

In ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, pop-ups for a web app do not reflect the pop-ups configured in the web map in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer. The image below shows the pop-up displayed in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer and ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.

Cause

This is an expected behavior. Pop-up configurations made in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer are not compatible with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Map Viewer web map compatibility for more information.

Solution or Workaround

To solve the issue, configure the web map pop-up in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic.

Log in to ArcGIS Online. Click Content > My Content.
Browse to the web map, click More Options , and select Open in Map Viewer Classic.
When prompted, in the Open in new Map Viewer dialog box, click NOT RIGHT NOW.

The Open in new Map Viewer dialog box stating that the layers opened in Map Viewer Classic have configurations that only supported in the new Map Viewer. Click NOT RIGHT NOW at the right-bottom of the dialog box.

In the Contents pane, browse to the hosted feature layer, click More Options , and select Configure Pop-up. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Configure pop-ups to configure the pop-up.

In the Configure Pop-up pane, there are Pop-up Title, Pop-up Contents, and Attribute Expressions for pop-ups configuration.

Click Save Map and select Save As to create a copy of the web map. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Save maps (Map Viewer Classic) for more information.

The Save Map button is at the top of the web map. One of the point for the hosted feature layer in Map Viewer Classic displays the pop-up with five fields displayed in the pop-up.

The image below shows the pop-up in the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder web app reflects the pop-up’s configuration in the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic web map.

In ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, the web app pop-up displayed the same fields as configured in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic.
