Unable to execute the Detect Objects Using Deep Learning tool in ArcGIS Pro

Description

When working with deep learning models in ArcGIS Pro, attempting to run the Detect Objects Using Deep Learning tool fails and returns the following error message:

Error:   
ERROR 999999: Something unexpected caused the tool to fail. Contact Esri Technical Support (http://esriurl.com/support) to Report a Bug, and refer to the error help for potential solutions or workarounds.
Parallel processing job timed out [Failed to generate table]
Failed to execute (DetectObjectsUsingDeepLearning).

Cause

When defining the environments for the Detect Objects Using Deep Learning tool, setting the Parallel Processing Factor environment causes a conflict because the Parallel Processing Factor pertains only to the central processing unit (CPU), not the graphics processing unit (GPU).

Solution or Workaround

Use either the GPU or CPU to run the Detect Objects Using Deep Learning tool. When setting the environment parameters for the Detect Objects Using Deep Learning tool, set the Parallel Processing Factor environment only if Processor Type is set to CPU. There is no need to set the Parallel Processing Factor environment if Processor Type is set to GPU. By default, the tools in the Deep Learning toolset use GPU processing to perform analyses. Note:
The deep learning toolset in ArcGIS Pro does not support AMD GPUs.

If all else fails, restart ArcGIS Pro to reset the tool environments and run the tools.
